We are bucket fillers!
In our classroom, we will work hard to be "bucket fillers," not "bucket dippers!"
The student's enjoyed the book, "Have Your Filled a Bucket Today?"
The book tells the story of how everyone carries an invisible bucket with them.
The way we treat others fills our buckets.
Examples include: we fill buckets when we are kind or we can dip from their buckets when we use unkinds words or actions.
We have been spending time learning how we can fill other peoples buckets and learning how to avoid dipping from them! Students will be able to fill buckets in our classroom by writing positive notes to them. We will read our notes inside our "1D Bucket" every other Friday!
